Roman Forum
Another view of the Roman Forum from atop the Capitoline Hill. In the foreground on the right are a few remaining columns of the Temple of Vespasian (and just past that, though not very visible, is the Temple of Saturn). The grassy area on the right is the remains of the Basillica Julia. Built by Julius Caesar in 54 BC, it was used by tribunals of judges. The three white columns past this mark the Temple of Castor and Pollux. Off to the right is the Palantine Hill and off in the distance is the Arch of Titus.
