Loch Leven Lakes

Along the way to the lakes, after hiking over boulders and through woods, we came across these railroads - they seem completly out of place!

After hiking about 2.5 miles, we reached the first (lower) of the lakes (first two photos). Middle Lake was a bit farther with the High Loch Leven Lake about a mile further still. The water was clear and cool, but plenty warm to swim in (quite surprising as we were over a mile up in the Sierras).

While there we made some wildlife friends!
